Patient Education and Training.
Our professional staff will train patients on how to properly manage self-administered medications as ordered by their physician. We support our patient population with ongoing training and education until they are comfortable and demonstrate proper procedures and techniques to safely administer their medication.
Many therapies require an RN to stay for the duration of the treatment. Patients will receive education on their infusion medication and will be monitored per protocol to support safe and comfortable home infusion therapy experiences.

Managing IV access for self infused medications;
A Patient or a caregiver can be taught to flush, monitor, and maintain their IV access once the line is established. Additionally, if a central line is in place (PICC, or Port) the clinician will also monitor the site per protocol and when applicable perform sterile dressing changes.
