CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion)
VA-BC (Vascular Access Board Certified)
CHFN (Certified Heart Failure Nurse)
CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
Advanced certifications are important because:
Extensive experience must be confirmed prior to sitting for a certification exam
The clinician must prepare and pass a rigorous national certification examination
Ongoing mandatory re-certification requirements every 3 years assure the certified clinician maintains updated knowledge and practice based on the latest continuing education requirements
The Clinician must keep up with the latest advancements and standards
Employing and supporting clinicians to obtain and maintain certification supports our agency approach to practicing based on the latest clinical standards, and overall at a higher level of knowledge. This in turn supports our mission of promoting best possible patient outcomes and experiences.
